On the left, one man is hammering at a building, while another gives him orders. In the centre a man carrying bricks is climbing a ladder, and another is hoisting a pail full of mortar up with a pulley. Inscribed with Ex. 1:11, 2:23. — In the lower compartment: Moses is keeping his flock on Mount Horeb with his dog beside him. He is looking towards the (effaced) burning bush on the left, out of which appears the nimbed bust of a man with raised hands. In the background are trees on a hill. Inscribed with Ex. 3:1-2.
