fol. 11v

At the top is a bearded man, partly hidden behind the large initial word panel, pouring wine from a golden jug into a golden chalice. In the dense foliage scroll framing the page are peacocks, other birds, hounds chasing a hare, and a man’s foot. At the botton is a bearded man, wearing a cap and hood, lifting a golden chalice in benediction. The panel is inscribed: אתאן מפרקא when one comes from the synagogue שטפן כסא one washes the cup, ומזגין חמרא pours the wine, ומברך and pronounces the benediction.
